Terrible news for the Brewers - Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that second baseman Rickie Weeks is out for the season due to a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist.  It's a 4-6 month recovery period.  Weeks, 26, was off to a nice .272/.340/.517 start in 162 plate appearances.
If GM Doug Melvin decides to hit up the free agent market, he can consider Ray Durham, Mark Grudzielanek, or Damion Easley.

오늘은 답답한 소식이 많네요..
밀워키의 2루수 리키윅스가 왼쪽 손목의 힘줄이 찢어지는 부상으로 인해 시즌 아웃될 전망입니다..
대략 회복기간이 4 ~ 6개월 정도 걸린다고 하네요 ㅡㅜ
올 시즌 활약이 좋았는데 안타깝군요..
멜빈단장은 듀햄이나 그루질라넥이나 데미언 이즐리 정도를 영입하는 방법을 생각할 수도 있다고 합니다..

그러고 보니 간만에 올리는 밀워키 소식이 머 이렇군요 ㅡ_ㅜ

According to Andy Martino of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Phillies signed catcher Paul Bako to a minor league deal.  Bako signed with the Cubs in January and had a nice spring, but lost the backup catcher competition to Koyie Hill and was released.  Bako, 37 in June, hit .217/.299/.328 in 338 plate appearances for the Reds last year.

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports sets up a new line of trade speculatin' today: he asks whether the Indians might be willing to take offers on catcher/first baseman Victor Martinez in the near future.  The Indians would have to fall out of contention first (they're currently 7.5 games out), and even then it'd be a long shot.  Martinez, 30, is hitting a robust .401/.478/.632 in 178 plate appearances this year.  He has $4.3MM more coming this year and an easily-decided $7MM club option for 2010.
Rosenthal says the Red Sox already inquired on Martinez about a month ago.  While "premium players on both sides" were discussed, "the talks failed to progress."  Rosenthal speculates on names such as Clay Buchholz, Daniel Bard, and Lars Anderson.
Rosenthal doesn't mention them, but the Mets could be a nice fit for V-Mart if Carlos Delgado's injury puts him out for several months.

한귀로 듣고 흘리기 딱좋은 우리의 로젠탈횽이 인디언스 흔들기에 나서셨습니다..
현재 인디언스가 플옵컨텐터에서 좀 멀어져있는 상황에서 빅터마르티네즈를 트레이드 할 수도 있지 않느냐 하군요..
마르티네즈는 2010년 700만달러의 클럽옵션이 남아 있죠..
로젠탈이 언급하기로는 이미 보스턴 구단이 마르티네즈를 몇달전부터 째려보고 있었다고 합니다..
양측모두 언급된 선수들의 이름이 후덜덜하긴 합니다만.. 보스턴 구단이 얼마전에 영건투수들은 트레이드 카드로는 활용하지 않을것이다~~라고 일단 이야기는 하긴 했습니다..
또한.. 메츠 구단이 델가도가 없는 상황인 만큼 마르티네즈를 슬쩍 째려볼 수 있지 않겠나.. 하는군요 후후후

저 갠적 생각으론 이렇습니다..
리사마와 마르티네즈가 올시즌이 계약의 마지막은 아닙니다.. 그러니 무리해서 보내진 않을것이구요..
다만 샤피로 단장의 스탈을 본다면 오퍼가 온다면 들어는 볼 것으로 생각됩니다.. 들어보고 결정하지 않을까 싶네요..
상황은 좀 다릅니다만 겨울에 있었던 피비와 타워스단장이 좀 유사할거 같네요..

This is the fifth consecutive game Reyes has missed due to right calf tendinitis. The shortstop was hopeful of a Monday return, but he's now targeting Tuesday's game against the Dodgers for his return. He's still considered day-to-day. Alex Cora is expected to start in his place.

메츠의 유격수인 레이예스가 오른쪽 종아리 부상으로 인해 오늘 경기포함 5게임 연속으로 나오지 않고 있습니다..
대략 월요일에 돌아올 것으로 생각되었지만 현재로서는 현지시간으로 화요일 다저스와의 경기에서 복귀할 것 같다고 합니다..
그의 빈자리는 어제 부상이 있었던 코라가 대신해주고 있군요 >_< 코라 넌 괜찮은거냐??
라고 했지만.. 코라도 어제 부상을 입어서리.. 결국 DL로 가고 그부분 땜질 전문 라몬 마르티네즈가 올라왔습니다~




The Mariners decided to give Adrain Beltre the night off Monday.
Manager Don Wakamatsu wanted to give Beltre a mental break in an effort to break him out of his current slump. Beltre's current hitless streak is now at 13 at-bats and he's batting just .211 on the season. He was replaced in the lineup by Ronny Cedeno.

올 시즌 극심한 타격부진을 겪고 있는 벨트레에게 일단 오늘 경기에서 휴식을 주기로 결정했다는 군요..
최근 13타석에서 단 한개의 안타를 기록하지 못하고 .211이라는 참담한 성적을 보여주고 있네요..
그의 빈자리는 로니 세데뇨가 채워줄 거라고 합니다..
